Willy Shih has served as the Robert and Jane Cizik Professor of Management Practice in Business Administration at Harvard Business School since 2007, where he teaches in MBA and Executive Education Programs. Prior to that, Mr. Shih spent 28 years in various senior management and consultancy positions with IBM, Digital Equipment, Silicon Graphics, Eastman Kodak Company and Thomson SA working in product development and manufacturing. Mr. Shih previously served on the Board of Directors of Flex from 2008 to 2022, as a member of the Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, and on the Industrial Advisory Committee for the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. Mr. Shih holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Life Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a Life Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Mr. Shih was selected to serve on our board based on his extensive experience in product development and manufacturing.
